The Word of God is NOT Absolute, Development and Time can Change God's Words

Note: I acknowledge that there is no suppose private interpretation of the bible scripture (II Peter 1:20) hence, I subject this writing to other spirit. Should you find my writing to be totally wrong, I would then appreciate if you could correct me and or rebuke me (II Timothy 3:16). Let's reason together (Isaiah 1:18) so as to bring the matter into the light, I can be reach at sherwincablao@gmail.com.

ABSOLUTE
(of powers or rights) not subject to any limitation; unconditional."no one dare challenge her absolute authority"

synonyms:
- unlimited, unrestricted, unrestrained, unbounded, unbound, boundless, infinite, ultimate, total, supreme, unconditional, full, utter, sovereign, omnipotent" the parliament was only consultative, with absolute power remaining with the king"

antonyms:
conditional

A prestige school 30 years ago imposes a written regulation whereby, students are somehow not allowed to submit a major report or thesis by hand written rather, submit the paper using a type writer for clarity and neatness. This rule was absolute and cannot be change at that time, so they followed the rule religiously. Now the time passed, today the written rule of using a type writer was still in the school handbook. But, today only few if not nobody used the typewriter. In todays time it becomes not practical and basically not applicable to use a type-writer as almost every student have computer at home. Hence, even if last time the rule is absolute and unchangeable, it will not make sense in todays time thus, it's only logical and practical to update the written rule of the school to match with the current time and development. It follows that the rule has to change with the time and the development of technology. The absolute and unchangeable last time is not absolute and unchangeable after all.

In praises, prayers, teaching and the bible itself says that, God's word endures forever, meaning heaven and earth will move and/or change but not the word of God. Or, is it really?

So in the bible it says;

“And you shall eat before the LORD your God, in the place where He chooses to make His name abide, the tithe of your grain and your new wine and your oil, of the firstborn of your herds and your flocks, that you may learn to fear the LORD your God always. But if the journey is too long for you, so that you are not able to carry the tithe, or if the place where the LORD your God chooses to put His name is too far from you, when the LORD your God has blessed you, then you shall exchange it for money, take the money in your hand, and go to the place which the LORD your God chooses. And you shall spend that money for whatever your heart desires: for oxen or sheep, for wine or similar drink, for whatever your heart desires; you shall eat there before the LORD your God, and you shall rejoice, you and your household. You shall not forsake the Levite who is within your gates, for he has no part nor inheritance with you.” Deuteronomy 14:23-27 NKJV

"And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD'S: it is holy unto the LORD". Leviticus 27:30 KJV

"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone". Matthew 23:23 KJV

The verses simply imply that should the place is far, you exchange the tithe of grain, wine, oil...with money but then when you reach the place where God chooses you spend that money with what your heart desire (oxen or sheep....). The Lord also has been very specific whats holy to Him and money was not in it.

Although, one could argue that in (Leviticus 27:30), since God is unchangeable God, when we give tithes of money we really did not change God's ordinance as written thus, not really transgressing Him being a God who does not change. We just need to think deeper. The logic goes like this, paper money is from the paper but paper is originally from trees and tree was mentioned in the verse. Or, coins are made up of metal but the raw metal elements that made up a coin are from the land and land was mentioned in the verse, make sense? Therefore, in essence money whether be it paper or coins is actually and rooted from the land hence, money can be holy unto the Lord. In other words whatever things that comes or was rooted from the land actually are holy to the lord hence, tithable. While this deducing really make sense, it would also follow that all other less valuable things or no value at all or any other than money such as rocks, leaves, electric fan, car, weed, guns, even drugs, cabinet, cans, or plastic, or whatever things where the raw materials originally comes and rooted from the land, would make in essence holy to the Lord. If one can deduce from the verse that money is from the paper but paper is from the tree and tree is from the land and land is mentioned in verse hence, holy unto God and acceptable to Him. Others can also deduce from the same verse that guns and bullets are made of metal but the raw metal that made up guns and bullets are from the land and land is mentioned in the verse hence, it's also holy unto the Lord and acceptable. Or, as simple as kitchen towel and utensils, its not literally mentioned in the verse but the core make up of these materials came from the land hence, it qualifies to be holy unto the Lord and so tithable. Obviously, this kind of thinking and logic is faulty. Lets not read to much between the lines. God meant it to be simple, plain and was specific what is holy to Him. Those who buy into this faulty thinking, should they have instance where they can't tithe money for whatever reason, since they believe that they can't afford not to tithe. They can actually just go to their backyard, pick some stone, or cans, or leaves, or whatever things where the raw material comes or rooted from the land and tithe it, they haven't realize it yet but, they can actually tithe without costing them money or anything aside from money. Afterall, all material things that we have (money, stones, bricks, cement, pen, scrap metal, tissue, spoon, fork, dishes, guns, cars and many many more in fact all) are all rooted from the land and the land was created by God, therefore all things are from God and everything in it and from or rooted from it is holy unto the Lord therefore, ALL things on earth are tithable not just money. No wonder they say that, they cannot afford not to tithe, in this case, there is no excuse, everybody can and should be able to tithe of just about ANYTHING not limited to just money - at least to those who buy into this faulty reasoning. Take note also that the verse is all about what is holy to the Lord not what is important and valuable to a man. With this faulty reasoning, for a man it may not be valuable or important or of no use but for the Lord, everything literally everything are holy and tithable hence, if you tithe anything other than money or gold or silver, it may have no value to a man but it is holy to the Lord.

I'm honestly concern of how we seemingly see things with just one eye only especially in interpreting the word of God thus, not able to see the other side of the logic and or reasoning. Truly, men are full of prejudices - in a sense that, however this writing make sense and cannot find any loophole, most people who were already caught up to believe in this faulty reasoning, I think will not or just can't afford to believe it for the reason that, their mind and emotion already have pre conceived knowledge of what they believe to be fact without solid biblical evidence that is not taken out of context. Prejudices such as;
  • My leaders have holy spirit, its impossible for them to be wrong.
  • This cannot be true as I am more spiritual that the one who wrote this.
  • I had been in the ministry for so long and this is impossible.
  • I cannot be wrong, I studied pastoral ministry.
And so, the devil is taking advantage of these prejudices, because of these, what we think sometimes to be good is actually evil and vice versa. Evil here doesn't necessarily mean, killing someone or what, evil simply means disobedience of God's word. If only, whoever read this blog drop those prejudices, they would be able to make sound judgement whether what I'm saying here is biblically fact or not.

Again, I don't insist that I'm correct, I could be really wrong, this is why I always subject what I say and written to other spirit, subject for correction reproach and rebuke. But, unless someone proves me wrong in a sensible and biblical manner, until that time come, I will consider this to be correct hence, a revelation coming from the holy spirit of God. And, since the revelation was given to me, my brothers and sisters in Christ has the right to know the truth. It will be in my conscience if I don't tell it because, it's in fact a sin, Yes "Biblical Tithing in Todays Time Is A Sin", unless, someone biblically prove me wrong. Revealing this to me did not cause or will not cause me to sway on my faith rather the revelation strengthen my faith as it became clearer to me who really God is, how great He is and how He does not change but, at the same time I became more cautious of the men that might misrepresent who He really is. Truly, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,” II Timothy 3:16 NKJV, the only way to know if a man is lying or not is if its written in the bible but not taken out of context. To most, this faulty reasoning had been all the while, perhaps in many years is a sound logic, no loophole and all. Hence, believing that they are really not transgressing His very nature being a God that does not change if they give tithe of money since the core make up of money is from the Land and the Land is created by God hence, everything that is in and rooted from the Land is tithable as it is holy to the Lord regardless if it's valuable or not to a man.

Perhaps now, it is very clear to whoever read this blog that, God did not ordained tithe of money for the levites rather agricultural products. As the bible say:

“to bring the firstfruits of our dough, our offerings, the fruit from all kinds of trees, the new wine and oil, to the priests, to the storerooms of the house of our God; and to bring the tithes of our land to the Levites, for the Levites should receive the tithes in all our farming communities.” Nehemiah 10:37 NKJV"

This is the principle of tithe as per the old law. We cannot say it's not applicable already, remember we are spiritual brethren of Israel thus, in essence the minister of the word are levites. If they are in essence levites - to which by the way was already change to Jesus Christ Himself (see Hebrews 7:11-13), the adoption of tithing must also be based from how it was required for Israel to give to the Levites. We cannot simply adopt the idea but not how they do it, it's a package, if we adopt the idea of tithing it comes along with the instruction how to do it that is acceptable to Him. That instruction is fixed, not negotiable, even time and development of this world should not yield or bend to it. It is THE word of God after all.

But, in todays time almost everybody earned in terms of money and it basically becomes almost impossible, impractical, not logical, not applicable and inconvenient to do. However we think of it, the verses just don't make sense in today's time. As per my understanding, God's word is unchangeable in text and supposedly in practice of it, absolute, cannot be bound with time, it is applicable from the beginning to end. I look up God so much, that I need to clarify or ask these questions for me to be enlightened.

1.0 How did we make His word absolute and unchangeable, boundless, stays forever, applicable from beginning to end when in practice its different from what the original instruction is?

2.0 Is it not considered heresy- a belief or religious practice that is contrary from what the bible really say, if we claim that His word is absolute, unchangeable but become conditional in actual practice?

I would appreciate if someone who really care about the truth regardless who or what might be affected will give an enlightenment regarding the matter.

Click the links below for related topic, there you'll realise that tithing was actually annulled when Jesus became the high priest replacing the levitical priest. This is why, forcing tithing to be applicable in todays time creates complication that violates His very nature as an abolute being and transgresses His word. But, it is not an excuse not to give. Biblically, there is a clear distinction between giving and tithing. Click "Will a man Rob God" link below for complete explanation.

Even when you are IGNORANT of a Bible precept, you are still accountable to it; but how much more when you have seen and heard it face-to-face? ALL error has a negative consequence. Renounce all error. Embrace all truth. Preach, teach, and live by what the Bible says. Stop preaching errors"- Ken Raggio
